The G7 summit fails on climate consensus

Climate change, terror and trade have dominated the first day of the G-7 meeting in Italy. While leaders signed a statement to fight terrorism, climate change remained a more divisive subject. The U-S remained the sticking point - unable to join other countries in committing to the 2015 Paris Agreement on curbing carbon emissions.
