A United Nations official is calling on Australian politicians to denounce racist rhetoric, particularly when it comes from their own colleagues. The UN special rapporteur on racism has handed down his findings on racism in Australia following a series of meetings around the country. He says he is concerned about comments from a number of federal politicians about Muslim migrants.
