Victoria joins national push for script monitoring system

A new real-time prescription monitoring system has been rolled-out in Victoria after a successful trial period in the state's western region. Victoria has become the third state to develop its own prescription monitoring system after Tasmania and the A-C-T. While Victorians will benefit from the new system intended to prevent overdoses, experts are urging other states and territories to come on-board and help develop a national network.
