More than half a million Austrians have signed a petition titled "Don't Smoke." It demands that the government abandon plans to liberalise smoking laws. The new conservative coalition recently overturned a law which would have seen smoking banned in all café, bars and restaurants. Instead it wants the café owners to decide whether customers can light up.
