100 coronavirus patients have died in Australia

Australia has reached the grim milestone of 100 Coronavirus related deaths following the death of a 93-year-old woman died at the Newmarch House aged care facility in Western Sydney. Nursing home deaths now account for about one in four of Australia's 100 COVID-19 related deaths. The largest cluster of deaths is from the Ruby Princess cruise ship, with 22 deaths linked to the vessel.
