Abraham Jok Mabok is 75 years old, father and grandfather who graduated with Master of Community Development in Perth. Abraham journey for education started in his home town of Yirol in 1953. His education was interrupted by war after he completed his secondary school in Rumbek.


Until 2004, Abraham Jok Mabok was 60 years old with a dream that one he will be able to take his children to a safe place where they will have access to better education. Abraham, his family, were accepted for resettlement to Australia in 2004. While in Australia, Abraham started his training again from TAFE and went up to the university where he obtained a Bachelor degree and now a master.  Abraham story is, and this is the second time his story has been on SBS Dinka Radio. Abraham obtained various certificates, diploma, degree and now the Master Degree in Community Development.
