Agel Ring Machar is a member of SPLM IO which is the partner to SPLM IG in the TGoNU. Agel left Juba the day the conflict erupted to Nairobi where spoke on the phone with SBS Dinka team. In his interview, Agel rejected the call by President and members of the Government that the shooting at J1 was started by the Bodyguard of First vice President Riek Machar.

Agel believes that a third party played a major role in the clashes between the bodyguards of President and his first Vice President. The first fight took claimed over 300 lives but the fighting between the 9 to 11 of July is yet to be made official.
