Aguek Dau Nyok was doing his work as cabs driver but never expected that his day will turn to a bad memory. Aguek came to Moorooka to pick some things only to see a bus with smoke coming out. According to Aguek, a person who is now a suspect was alleged to have been the first to exit from the front door of the bus. The driver and passengers were then trapped inside the bus.

I saw smoke coming out and I thought why dont I help this situation? I came to the back door and started pushing but it couldnt open. I decided to kick the door and that when it opened. To help get passengers out, I stood there holding the door but I was struggling because it was pushing back toward me.

In his first exclusive interview on SBS Dinka Radio, Aguek said that his concern was to help the lives of those inside the bus. I never think of his own life but blame him for not reaching to the driver who was already engulfed by fire.
