Aguer Barach Kuot Rual is South Sudanese-Australian who came to Australia in 2013 from Sudan. For ten years, Aguer was a resident of Sunshine in Victoria-Australia before returning to South Sudan in 2013. Aguer joined the South Sudanese opposition led by Riek Machar in Pagak and in 2016 he defected to the ruling faction of SPLM IG. Aguer is the graduate of Victoria University and holds the master degree. To understand his story, we contact Aguer in Juba and he narrated the story of joining SPLM IO and in Government.
