SPLM in Jonglei State is rocked by crisis, and 37 people are detained and investigated for their role in the alleged petition against deputy Governor Antipas Nyok Kucha. It is reported that 37 people were arrested in Jonglei State, and all were accused of forgery and impersonation. Ateny Pech, who went to the police, told SBS Dinka that he only opened a defamation case against three people within the SPLMA, namely Mamer Ruk, Deng Ajak and Anyieth Makuei, for allegedly putting his names in a petition without his consent.
