The coronavirus pandemic is likely to see more Australians become homeless as the number of people forced out of work continues to grow. The number of Australians who are homeless is estimated to be 116,000. Homelessness Australia fears that figure will rise as people lose their jobs because of the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
