Bishop Daniel Deng Abot came to Australia from Kakuma Refugee Camp over 10 years ago. Daniel with his family settled in Toowoomba in Queensland. Daniel went back to South Sudan where he was consecrated as Bishop of the Diocese of Duk. During the South Sudanese two years conflict, Daniel has been a frequent visitor to Poktab which is deep in the war zone. He came back to Australia in 2016 to follow up a shipment of clothes to Kakuma refugees camp. Daniel took clothes donated by an Australian church to help disadvantaged youth and orphans. Here is the interview we did while Bishop was in Kakuma.
