In the 1980s, many young people across South Sudan joined the Sudanese People Liberation Movement/A as under age. Many of these people who were also known as unaccompanied minors later served as child soldiers during the war. They were named as Red Army or Terab(Seeds) by the chairman of the SPLM/A. Four years, many of those youth in which many are now in their later 30s formed RED ARMY FOUNDATION as not for profit organisation to represent those who served and to preserve the history of these young people. In recent years, the organisations leadership is alleged to be taking the side in politics of the country. Such criticism emerged during the 2013-2015s conflict. For a first time, we will be talking to Deng Bol Aruai who is the President of Red Army Foundation. Deng is proud to call himself the diehard support for the Government even if the people that he represents are also part of the opposition. Here is the interview with Deng while he was in Thailand
