The new study by the Murdoch Children's Research Institute in Melbourne suggests that mothers who take antibiotics during pregnancy could be exposing their children to a higher risk of infection and hospitalisation. The data from 750,000 pregnancies in Denmark between 1997 and 2009 was used. To have more insight into the story, we contacted a South Australian based Pharmacist for an explanation.
Abul Manyuon Mayen is registered pharmacist and currently working as a full-time Pharmacist in charge in South Australia. Abul completed her primary schooling in Kenya and moved to Australia in 2006 where she continues to pursue her studies. Abul went to Merryland High School in Sydney and Parramatta High school where she completed year 12 (High school certificate HSC) in 2008.
Abul went to University of Western Sydney and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor Degree in medical science majoring in biomedical.
