(Audio in Dinka) Biar Kuek Atem addressed the family members and friends on his Facebook profile on the 5 of April. He narrated how he became sick with COVID-19. After being declared Coronavirus free, Biar decided to use the moment to educate the community about Coronavirus.

On social media, many videos went viral for wrong reasons because many people took as a joke. Some people even went far by suggesting that 'African were immuned' and couldn't be infected. Facts contradict these theories developed by people and that what Biar is now trying to let the community know, and he is warning members of the community not to take this disease lightly.

Biar spoke in two languages Dinka and English, but one thing that he couldn’t tell is where he got the Virus. To help our audience to understand much about Coronavirus, we are reposting the park Biar spoke in Dinka.

“I have no a friend or a family member who is infected, so I can not tell exactly how I got the Virus....I'm now fully recovered, and my family is doing fine...I warn people not to take this disease lightly".
