Since the formation of the Transitional Government of National Unity in South Sudan, the economic situation continues to be deteriorating. What many South Sudanese were hoping was the formation which is now not helping the prices and the fall of pound against US dollars. In neighbouring countries, many South Sudanese are leaving schools because they cannot afford to pay and many workers are striking due to late salaries. To understand that situation, Akuar Dut of SBS Dinka radio interviewed Dr Alic Garang who is an economies working with ebony centre in Juba. Alic mentioned the need for the South Sudanese to unit in order to improve this economy. Here is the interview in Dinka
