South Sudanese Former Deputy Minister of Defense Dr. Majak Agoot called off political activities in honour of his colleague James Ajongo Mawut. James Ajongo Mawut was the South Sudanese head of the army from May of 2017 to April 20th, 2018.


Dr. Majak was interviewed earlier by VOA and again on a Saturday program at 11 am on SBS Dinka Radio. Majak served as front commander to General Ajongo between 2000-2003 and again as Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Defense in the Republic of South Sudan after independence. Dr. Majak is now a member of the opposition alliance which is a coalition of many South Sudanese political parties in opposition.
