A few years ago, Elizabeth Adau Lual and her Dau Prescila Kuer Bul who came to Australia as refugees camp up with ideas of raising money to help the needy in South Sudan and at refugees settlement in Uganda. SBS Dinka interviewed both of them in 2017 for the first time. They are citizens of Australia and lives in Wollongong.


In 2018, Adau managed to get about 30 thousand dollars the money that she believes would let her carry out her project. As part of her journey to Uganda, Adau met with many refugees but her target was to help orphans, widows, disable and other disadvantaged groups in four different camps. Adau bought food items, blankets, mosquito’s nets, and fishing nets for those who love fishing. Elizabeth Adau Lual traveling across Northern Uganda in the refugee camps distributing food items and blankets to the orphans win Ulwa/Milijo, Alere, and other refugee settlement camps.
