The tournament is organised to bring together young from South and Sudanese background during the holidays using their love of footfall or soccer.
The only way community can come together is through sport to bring our young people together. For example every community in South Sudan is represented in all the teams that are playing including even those from Nuba Mountain. This help posh and promote unity amount themselves. When these young people play soccer they see themselves as brother and sister from South Sudan and they do not differentiate themselves.
South Sudanese community in the WA decided to established or put together platform where they can unite all of these young people to play sport.
