Gabriel Chol Garang who identified himself as the ‘shadow Minister’ of Information for Jonglei State told SBS Dinka Radio that,‘four areas are located in Tong in Bor county, Ngalapicho in T- East county, Paheer in Duk county, and Pagelang inPanyang county’. Chol is Minister in the shadow government under the leadership of SPLM-IO shadow Governor Alier Ateny Lueth. He was speaking to SBS Dinka Radio while in Australia city of Perth.

According to SPLM-IO; four areas have been identified as cantonment areas across Jonglei State to host military units of the SPLM-IO. As part of the revitalised peace agreement implementation, various states across South Sudan will have cantonment t areas to organise the military units from the from SPLM-IO. Jonglei is one of the States identified, but SBS Dinka is yet to confirm from the State Government if these areas are now for SPLM-IO.
