Garang Bol Ajang is an experienced settlement worked, and he is currently working and living in Wollongong. Garang calls for the South Sudanese communities across Australia to find ways to help in engaging youth.


Garang is currently working with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) as a Relationships Manager. Garang worked and served in different capacities for14 in the community sector in NSW. As a former caseworker, he initiated programs that later helped many youths from all diverse background.

After many weeks of adverse reports about the young people committing all kinds of crimes including breaking police car in Tarneit in Melbourne; Garang decided to speak up in his first interview on SBS Dinka Radio and said.
"what is happening now is not, but we need to find a solution for it as a community. We also need to work with the mainstream communities to let youth find more opportunities whether in recreational activities or jobs."
