It was Sudanese army that attacked Bor on 16/05/1983

The cause of Sudan war began in a town of Bor when the Sudanese army attacked the unit formed of many South Sudanese solider who refused to be transfered to the North. In this interview Manayng Agok Aliet who was the eye witness said, "105 battalion was attacked at Malualchat by the Sudanese army which came from Juba and joined some of their soldiers at Pariak then proceeded to Malualchat". At the time Bullet Alier Mangardit was at the base and Karbino Kuanyin Bor was in Bor town and Dr John Garang at Langbar.
