Lavinia Yor: “Doctors said there is no hope despite all that I have tried”.

Lavinia Atab Anei Yor is mother and grandmother and she came to Australia in 1997. In 2015, she was diagnosed with breast cancer on which she went for the operation. She was again told that disease spread to her lungs and that he is left with few 6 months to live.


As a fighter, she worked hard and save some money for treatment in Mexico. She now believes her trip to Mexico gave her the few months that she is able to stay with her children. Doctors are not giving her and hope of recovering but she chose to fight to the end. Her kids especially and 8 years old daughter is affected and disturbed by the situation. Even if she is told of her potential death, she is still working hard by going to work to get some money for the Victim C injection. Here is the story.
