In Kenyan town of Nakuru, many Churches are closed due to Coronavirus. Many religious people find it hard to go to any public places. Rebecca Alakiir is a priest and has a message of support to people facing challenges during the lockdown.

Rebecca Alakiir Dau is one of the young persons who joined the church in 1984. She became a committed member and got baptised in 1984 at Rialbek Church. In this exclusive interview, Alakiir talks about how she struggled to be recognised as Christian in her ancestral village, which was following the traditional deities.  Here is the interview with SBS Dinka’s stringer Deng Goch Ayiik in Nakuru.
