Michael Tuoptuop made his debut to the world of traditional music in the 1980s as a young man. His style of dancing attracted many young people many years later.


Michael Mabeny as he known to his parents also tried the traditional Dinka wrestling on which he won some of the games. He is also a singer and comedian. He has lived in Kakuma Refugee camp now for over 20 years and he defined the odd by completing his primary and going to secondary school despite the age. For his first interview on SBS Dinka, Tuoptuop talks about his life and the stories of his dancing skills with Deng Goch Ayiik in Kakuma refugee camp.
