NAPLAN Report reveals success for students from non-English speaking backgrounds

School students from a language background other than English are outperforming their native English speaking peers in NAPLAN, according to the latest data. The national NAPLAN report revealed the results of multilingual students, as well as Indigenous students, are improving, but some say results across the board are stagnant and are pushing to have the minimum standard lifted.
