Ayaak:"Ɣɛn ee yɔŋ ke ɣɛn ye mɛnhthin ye run 13"

Ayaak Chol tells the story of how she was molested by a person known to the family at the age of 13 back in South Sudan. In her life, she struggled with Depression and many other related illness because by the memories attached to this situation. As part of her situation, we discussed, PTSD, Anxiety, stress and many other related conditions that include Mental illness do affect many people but how each person cope with them can also differ. In Dinka and many other communities, these conditions are sometimes ignored and the situation may not allow one to seek help because they don't see them as a threat to their lives. Help understand we will talk to people who have been in this situation.
