The New South Wales Government has not ruled out further tightening of COVID-19 lockdown restrictions in Greater Sydney, as new local cases infectious in the community persist. Victoria has began day two of its fifth COVID-19 lockdown, as authorities focus on keeping up with "fleeting transmission" of the virus.
