(Audio in Dinka) Members of South Sudanese Community have come together to raise money after Australian states were engulfed bushfires. The crisis response team was the idea of Anyieth Arou Maan who felt concern after many families were destroyed. Anyieth wanted to help and that why he coordinated online fundraising her Facebook page. The team raised $2532 and money was handed over to the Bendigo Bank’s Bushfire Disaster Appeal on Friday 24 January. The Anyieth and the group are planning to volunteer with Blaze Aid in East Gippsland. Here is the interview with Anyieth.
