This week, members of the Abyei community travelled from Melbourne and other parts of Australia to Canberra to deliver a petition to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade about the situation in Abyei. This came after over 30 people were killed last months in the villages of Kolom. Palieth and Achai are citizens of Abyei and they were interviewed this morning about the petition. We ask them how this petition will help Abyei people?
