Breaking News: Gen. Gabriel Jok Riak is admitted to hospital but he is fine

South Sudan’s acting chief of General Staff, Gen. Gabriel Jok Riak is admitted to Nairobi hospital after felling sick in Juba on Wednesday. General Jok was expected to attend the burial of his senior, the South Sudanese’s former Chief of Defense forces James Ajongo Mawut at Bar-Mayen was instead taken to Nairobi for medical care.

General Jok arrived in Nairobi yesterday evening at about 6pm and the family member who talked to SBS Dinka confirmed the news. SBS Dinka also reached to the family members who are in hospital with the General. At 2.30am, a relative who is at the bed site in Nairobi hospital told SBS Dinka that General Jok is doing fine. Hence, doctors are yet to give any details to what happened.
 
“Doctors are yet to tell us what happened but he is now very well. Relatives and the whole country shouldn’t worry now because he is okay and doing fine.”

General Jok was in Uganda for his graduation when he heard the news about the passing of James Ajong last week. General Jok quickly went back to Juba and it was reported by sources close to him that he is not happy about happened to James Ajongo. SBS Dinka will update you on this story.
