Elizabeth Ajur Garang was born in Kakuma in 1999. In 2003, when Kakuma came under attack from the Turkana, Ajur and her mother moved to the village in South Sudan. While in the village, Ajur went through some hardships until she was helped by her aunt. Ajur moved back to Kenya where she resumed her studies. In 2017, Ajur sate for her KCPE and obtained 340 marks but couldn’t go further with her studies. Here is the interview of Ajur and Deng of SBS Dinka.
