Awan Kuol Awan is a South Sudanese youth who works hard to keep many of the young people engaged with cultural activities in western suburbs of Melbourne. These involve traditional dancing and other recreational activities. Awan recently attended a African Youth Conference organised by Incubate Foundation. Awan volunteered with the Salvation Army few years ago in order to help homeless youth at the CBD of Melbourne. He came to SBS Dinka Radio tell more about the challenges facing youth of the South Sudanese community in particular.
