Bishop Daniel deng Abot is an Australian citizen who is currently a serving Bishop of Duk Diocese in South Sudan. Last week, Bishop Deng returned to Australian via USA to see his children in QLD. Bishop Deng is also coupled his religious work with support for the needy people in Duk and neighboring areas in South Sudan. Last year with the help of Australian in Toowoomba, Bishop Deng took many clothes to Kakuma Refugee camp in Kenya. With famine now declared in some counties of South Sudan, Bishop Deng raised his concerns in interview with SBS Dinka about the hardship being face by the people of South Sudan now.
