President Salva Kiir Mayardit has appointed Jonglei's Governor Lt Kuol Manyang Juuk as the Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs. Kuol who is also a former SPLA general served as a Minister in the Sudanese Government of National Unity and the Governor of Jonglei State. This is the first interview since he was appointed as Minister last week.
