Hon. Deng Dau Deng Malek is the MP currently representing Twic East Constituency beside members at the council of States. On Wednesday the diaspora based members of Twic East Community accompanied by their National MP Deng Dau Deng Malek met President of South Sudan at Presidential Palace in Juba. This delegation is composed of Twic East's members from Australia, Canada, and the USA. The group went to Juba to push for the creation of new State out of Jonglei State.

Deng also said this about the accusation made against Abel Alier Kuai who was the former President of HEC. Abel Alier kuai is an elder, people shouldn't his drag his names into all these. He said nothing about the politics of new State in Jonglei or anywhere. He will never involve himself in any way. Those who are including his names are making wrong propaganda. He made the division of 1976 that brought Kongor area in order to deliver services to the people, why would he contradict himself again? He never went to Kiir or spoke about the rejection of new State. People need to leave him alone. Here is the interview with Deng Dau
