eSafety launched podcast about Cyberbullying, Unwanted contacts and Sexting in Dinka

(Podcast in Dinka) eSafety Commissioner with Embrace Society launched three podcasts in Dinka to make awareness about online safety. The three podcasts translated into Dinka talks about Cyberbullying, Unwanted contacts and Sexting.


 In recent years, the Dinka community has been rocked by cases of cyberbullying and image-based abuses. Many parents are not aware of the dangers associated with kids being online without parental supervision. In this podcast, the esafety commissioner Julie Inman Grant warned those who are doing negatives things online. Julie told SBS Dinka that 'esafety has powers to issue infringement notices to people and agencies up to 105 thousand dollars'. eSafety Commissioner urged people to seek help or report incidences when they are being bullied. 

 

On esafety website, those who are being bullied can also make reports. The three podcasts are recorded as a conversation between two people talk about cyberbullying, unwanted contact and Sexting.
