After many uprisings in Africa in early 70s, it was reported that Cuba sent about 400,000 troops to various countries that include Angola and Ethiopia during the Ogaden war. The relation between Mengistu and Fidel Castro led to the support in which over 600 students and military cadres went to Cuba in early 80s. Here is the story in Dinka.
