Girls prospective on marrying another girl a second wife

There are more girls now than boys among South Sudanese living Kenya. The girls do not want to be married as second wife. Julia Mach stated when we go party some girls would go back home without being greeted by their male counterpart which is a growing problem among girls South Sudanese girls in Kenya.

"The reason why we do not accept to be second wife is at time when you get married as a second wife after another lady who is already the first wife to your husband and living with her husband you will be mistreated therefore it is better which you stayed single as a girl rather than to be mistreated. At the same time my sisters it is better to have a husband and child and endure all the difficulties you face from your co-wife than to remain single for life. No wife runs away from another wife even if your husband married you as the first wife he will definitely married another wife". Said Julia Amach
