Major General Matur Chut Dhuol is the Governor of Lakes States. Lakes State is one of the States with very serious cases of insecurity. Politicians in Juba are blaming Matur for how he handles the crisis.

For first, Mature will be answering these accusations in this exclusive interview on SBS Dinka Radio. In Juba, a motion was moved in the Parliament to remove him from the leadership of the State on the insecurity ground. Matur instead taunted and laughed at the way the proposal was presented. Here is the interview with Matur.

"President Salva Kiir Mayardit appointed me, and I was not told of six 60 days for election. If I was told, I could have followed the directives. As per now; those who are working hard to make sure that I go are those Juba politicians from Deng Monydit, Awet, Telar, Deng Athorbec and Mayom Akec. These people have delivered nothing to this state but would always like to work hard in removing any sitting Governor. I asked them to do one thing; instead of them asking Kiir to remove me; why don't they asked him for money so that we can face each other on Election Day here in the Lakes States?"
