Kuol Anyieth Kuol story can be compared to that of biblical Daniel who made it out unharmed. This story will take you back to the life of many young boys who lived in the refugee camps in Ethiopia and how they suffered.

Kuol was one of the lost boys who left South Sudan in 1987 to Ethiopia. He was part of the larger young people who were taken to Ethiopia by the SPLM/A. Like many boys who went with him, Kuol left his village of pan Piol and trekked to the unknown destination in Ethiopia. Kuol age was estimated to be between 9 and 12 years when he went to Ethiopia.

While in Ethiopia, these unaccompanied minors were divide and mixed into different groups, Kuol became part of group 6. He was still very young at that point but that couldn’t let him escape the routine hard labour that many children went through in Pinyodu
