Lual Ding Wol was a South Sudanese veteran politician who served in various positions in the last 50 years. Lual was an MP, military officer and then political adviser to Dr John Garang and current President of South Sudan. Baba Africa, as he known, had been ill for the last two years before his unfortunate death was announced by his son Malong. We managed to interview Dr Lam Akol of the Democratic Change Party in Juba about Lual's life and politics. Dr Lam and Lual were part of a delegation that formed the Northern Sudanese delegation of then NIF in1989. Here the interview which was done on 12 February 2016
