My first interview with South Sudan former Minister Gier Chuang Aluong

First time at SBS Dinka Radio we had very exclusive interview with Gier Chuang Aluong the former Minister in the Government of Republic of South Sudan. Gier was moved from the SPLA (Sudanese People Liberation Army) into the political post in 2005 after the formation of the Government of South Sudan as the Minister of Telecommunication and Postal Service which he served for four years. He was later moved to Ministry of Internal Affairs and promoted to the position of Lieutenant general and Later Minister of Roads.


In 2013; Gier was arrested with the accusation that he participated in the alleged coup attempt which sparked the worse violence in the history of a new country and claimed thousands of lives. Gier denied the role and rejected the Government assertions but acknowledged his political opinion on the country issues.

In this exclusive interview; Gier Chuang will be talking about his arrest and the death of his bodyguard and how peace should be reach.
