"My house is surrounded by the security officers" Dr Lam Akol speak about his house arrest in Juba

Crisis in the South Sudanese town of Malakal is said to be worsening, and former Minister and head of the opposition party Dr Lam Akol Ajawin is allegedly accused and he is now placed under house arrest.

Lam was told not to leave his house, but who ordered the arrest remain a mystery for Dr Lam.  Dr Lam reached out to the Minister responsible for security, but nothing came out. SBS Dinka conducted this exclusive interview with Dr Lam while he was still under house arrest.

 

"As I speak to you now I am still in my house. The security forces have surrounded my house, but they have not taken me anywhere. As per now, I am doing well."
