Garang Aleu Anyang taught many South Sudanese children since 1960s. Garang Aleu worked as a teacher and his work took him around Sudan for over 40 years. To help understand his story, we interviewed him for first time. Garang Aleu Anyang, it is time now serve our people here in Khartoum. Since I have this ability now as Minister, I will be setting up a School that would serve the over 450 South Sudanese who have no chances to go to other Schools here in Khartoum. Since we have this chain, I was helped to be a Minister by one of my students and I hope no you (Garang Aleu Anyang) will curry on the touch of setting this school up. You were my students and you would be the best person to help these children regardless of their communities.
