Pattern Drafting and Design

This is an interview with the most out spoken young women, Ayaak Chol kuany Deng who is a pattern drafter and designer. She runs her own pattern drafting and design business in Western Australia. She is also known for her out spoken skills about things that are affecting the Sudanese and South Sudanese Community in Australia. In this interview we talked about how she started her business, her inspiration and provide some piece of advice to those who may think they want to start running their own businesses.

Ayaak Chol Kuany Deng spoke about how she started her Pattern drafting business focusing on her sewing experiences until the business is established. she also offer some piece of advices to people who may think and want to run their own business.

 

She also emphasised the important of keeping communication between the client and designer confidential as it is a way of trust building and ongoing relationship. This is merely because not keeping the secrets of the business confidential can be very damaging which can bring about misunderstanding.
