Peter Ajak: “People are suffering and they need peace”

Peter Biar Ajak Deng Biar is a South Sudanese economist and one of the founders of South Sudanese wrestling entertainment. Biar has been an adviser to the Government of South Sudan at the Ministry of Finance, worked for World Bank, Center for Strategic Analysis and Research and is currently the South Sudan Country Director for International Growth Center (an agency based in the UK). Biar is a graduate of Harvard and doing his Ph.D. at Cambridge. We contacted Biar in London to give us his perspectives on the current situation pertaining to the SPLM IG and SPLM IO. South Sudan seems to be going back to war after the July conflict. Listen to our interview with Biar this morning.
