Philip Aguer: I was not involved with parliamentary seats allocation

South Sudan state of Jonglei is rocked by the controversial division of parliamentary seats. In the previous legislature from old Jonglei State, the current three counties of Jonglei State were represented by 14 MP's at the States parliament. The allocation of the seats was at 8 to Bor County, 4 Twic East County and 2 to Duk County. After the 28 states were announced, 7 more seats were to be added in order to bring Jongleis parliament to the total of 21 MP's. Now the division of those twenty one seats caused much problem between the communities involved. In this interview with SBS Dinka Radio, Governor Philip Aguer Panyang narrated the story and said that he was not involved in the division of those seats. Please listen.
