Authorities in the United States say there is no indication the gunman who killed 49 people at a gay nightclub in the city of Orlando in Florida was part of an organised militant network. The self-proclaimed Islamic State, or I-S, has claimed responsibility for the massacre, the deadliest attack on U-S soil since the September 11 attacks of 2001.
