Dutch mother relieved after relocation to The Netherlands

In a remarkable and lengthy Australian Family Court case a Dutch mother has won the right to relocate to her country of birth with her young daughter due to the father's lengthy criminal record and the risk he poses for both mother and daughter. 'Petra' says she should have never been sent back to Australia in the first place and would like to see a true risk assessment put in place by the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects International Child Abduction.
